Alberto Ceria starts as a Postdoc in CNS group
Alberto Ceria focuses on combining data science and statistical physics methods to study complex interconnected systems, such as social interactions among individuals. Hisย main research focus is characterizing and modeling systems with time-varying and/or group interactions among their constituents, such as academic collaborations and social gatherings, to better understand their underlying generating mechanisms and how their properties can influence the dynamics of processes (e.g. epidemics) unfolding on them.
Before joining CNS group, he worked at TU Delft as a PhD candidate on network science and one year as a Junior researcher on applied data science at the Institute for scientific interchange in Turin.
